With our first matches under our belt it is time to look ahead. Our practice tomorrow (Thu, Sept. 28) will be at Vienna Adventist Academy (340 Courthouse Rd SW, Vienna, VA 22180). Practice is 8:30 - 9:45 pm. We have been told by our HS Group Coordinator that we may be switching between Luther Jackson and alternating practice locations/times. While having an inconsistent practice schedule is less than ideal, I am committed to sending reminders out so that parents and players are aware of where and when we will practice. You can also text Coach Morris (703.801.7132) if you are unsure. 

Our game this Saturday (9/30) is at 12:30 pm at Vienna Community Center. Players should arrive by 12:15 pm.

Please let us know if you player cannot make a practice or the game.

     I apologize for the late notice of this email. Our VYI volleyball is still working the issue of a practice location and needs a little more time. My understanding is the Luther Jackson Gym is available tomorrow so we will hold practice there. Please drop your girls at 7:45 pm for our warm up time and we will be finished at 9 pm.

    Our game this week is Saturday, 1:30 pm at Vienna Community Center. Please arrive no later than 1:15 pm for warm ups. If you have a conflict and can't make any or some of the matches, please let Coach Morris (703.801.7132) know. We play 3 matches in one hour.

Hello Players and Parents,

     I apologize for the cancellation of tonight's practice. Neither VYI Volleyball or I was aware of the FCPS school board meetings that take place at Luther Jackson and prevent outside groups of meeting on school grounds during the proceedings. I have been in touch with our Age Group Coordinator and the Commissioner to secure another playing facility to hold our Thursday practices. Please bear with us as we sort this out. I was pleased to see the girls getting to know each other and exchange cell phone numbers - always a good sign!

     Our first scrimmage is Sat, Sep 16 at 1:30 pm at the Vienna Community Center. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes earlier. Below is our game schedule - games are one hour in length on Saturdays. All of the games are scheduled to be held at the Vienna Community Center. Please let Coach Morris know if your player cannot make a game or practice (cell is 703.801.7132).
